Her eyes scanned the paper before her, looking over the smooth ink lines the pen in her hand had gladly spat out for her. The ends of the letters swirled together like grape vines, showing her inner most fondness for the one to lay their eyes upon said swirls. Her brows knitted together as she tapped the feather of the pen on her rosy cheek- not noticing how the wind traced its fingers through her (h/l) (h/c) tresses. The birds chirped around her, looking over the womans' shoulder to see what caused her to go into such a serious trance.

It was nothing more than a simple piece of paper, well, to them at least, but there was nothing more important than this for the girl. She tore her eyes away from it to look at the crumpled up balls of paper scattered around the table. The papers laughed at her, mocking the poor braveless girl for having an omit attitude, growing louder with every toss of plump papers that failed to express her mind. It was rather annoying to have a mind with such an excessive amount of feelings.

She stifled a sigh, scooting to the crumpled papers then picking them up one by one. With every piece that she had balance in her hands- the more sorrowful she had grown.
Why must it be so hard to create something imaginary? She thought, propping her elbow onto the table and resting her chin in the palm of her hand. The she-elf guided her eyes to the hall of which she came, silently watching as the ant-like figures of guards walking in and out of view in the distant arc of the kingdom. Only a few had passed by, mostly guards to see if there were any trespassers.

Even though the chances of that happening were very low, it was mandatory.

Suddenly, large hands reached from behind the she-elf and clamped on her wrists like cuffs. The girl screamed fearfully as she jumped out of the chair, knocking it over in the process, then tearing an arm out of the attackers grasp and whipping a clenched fist into the persons face. The man grunted in surprise and pain, stumbling back onto the ground with his hand clenching his cheek with a flurry of blond hair chasing after him.

 Oh no, she thought.

"Such a strong punch from a petite elf! I'm quite impressed, lady (f/n)," Legolas laughed, sluggishly rubbing his reddening cheek. Said woman gasped and instinctively knelt in front of him with a face painted with regret. Her hands frantically moved Legolas' hand away from his face, revealing the swollen patch of skin. She cringed; saddened that she had been the one to inflict a wound onto him. Sure it wasn't
that big of a deal, but if someone were to witness a poor, lowly elf attacking the prince- she would most likely be put to death. (F/n) thanked the forest gods for everyone's busy schedule.

"M-my lord, it is foolish to be complimenting me for hurting you." She hissed, cautiously holding out her trembling hand to him.

"And why not? Your form was the definition of perfection!" He laughed with ease, grabbing her hand then pulled him self up, obnoxiously wrapping his heavily muscled arm around her small shoulders. Her face went into flames automatically, nearly collapsing under his arm. (F/n) groaned. Of all the handsome elves in Mirkwood, she had to choose the most oblivious!

Hi~! Sorry that this was uploaded so late! (like a fucking year later) So so so so so so so soooo sorry honey! I have a lot to apologize for :((

I hope you enjoy it anyway despite the plot being everywhere... I just needed to upload it before I decide to delete it and start again. (Which is not fun) I kind of put my own frustration into one of the sentences... I don't think it will be hard to find LOL

Legolas belongs to JRR Tolkien

I have other things that I'm working on, so look forward to it I guess?

Oh my goodness! Amazing! I am so shy in real life, and I write  imaginary poems and short stories! I really like Lord of the Rings, and Legolas!
